Love my bb Whisper! Great quality and still lightweight, adjustable and easy to store. Great value!

“My whisper kayak paddle has now been in the Atlantic ocean, the gulf of Mexico, a lake, a stream and two rivers. It performed flawlessly. Thanks for making even your low budget paddles high quality.”

“My friend and I love these paddles! They have a lot of the features found in those costing considerably more. The grip is comfortable and the blades can be feathered. On day-long paddles on quiet rivers and lakes, they are light enough that we don’t experience paddling fatigue. We haven’t babied them; their rigid construction has dug us out of muddy landings and pulled us through weed-clogged passages. The Whisper has been perfect for the beginners we were, and will serve us for a long time to come.”

Got our kayaks a couple of weeks ago and at the same time added the bb Whisper paddles. One for my wife and one for me. Our kayaks are sit-on-top and 29" wide and honestly we weren't sure of the exact length to go with but my wife settled on a 220 and mine is a 230. Had them out for the first time this last week and our impression is that the label of "entry level" should be removed from the description. They worked great for us. We're not highly experienced paddlers though we have kayaked before. Just been a long time and with rented boats.

No splashing problem experienced. The drip rings worked well. No wetness on the grip rings at all. Weight? About the same as any of the non-fortune costing models.

I don't know how long these paddles will last and should they break what our replacements might be. To an upper model of bb or because of the price, simply with another of the same? So far, I see nothing forcing a decision to consider a change. Maybe a padded grip model. Who knows. We'll wear these out first before considering replacements.
