| We guarantee Bending Branches® paddles against manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase. Damage from defect must have occurred during normal use, as we recommend for that model. To return a defective paddle, you must call us for a return authorization number. With this RA number and the sales receipt, you may send the paddle back to us for evaluation. If we determine the paddle is defective, we may repair or replace it. This warranty does not cover white water paddles, any paddle used for white water, normal wear, or damage caused by apparent misuse or abuse. | |||||||||||

Bending Branches® has pioneered a proprietary process of bonding ultra-durable urethane to tips of our wood canoe and kayak paddles. The feature is called "Rockgard®" The tip of every Bending Branches paddle is protected with Rockgard; a specially developed and extensively tested impact resistant resin designed by Bending Branches to dramatically extend the life of the paddle and the looks too! This Wrap-Around™ technology puts Rockgard protection around the corners of the paddle. This impact-resistant technology reduces and sometimes eliminates wear and tear and damage from rocks, debris and water. The tip may occasionally dent but will not damage the integrity of the paddle nor separate from the paddle – it will not absorb moisture. Paddles perform well in the winter but paddlers should avoid extreme cold. To ensure a long life for your paddle you should avoid wedging, levering or twisting your paddle tip between rocks, logs or other obstacles. Rockgard is a story that is typical of Bending Branches’ innovation. We are always looking for ways to make better paddles for our customers. |
